My teaser this week is from I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.
Actually, this is quite easy. I don't need any lyrics- I can just keep singing "Mr. Yamasaki" over and over. After a few moments, some of the Japanese even start singing along and clapping Mr. Yamasaki on the back.
I am cracking up as I type this. Such a funny scene. Maybe I'll just reread the whole book now.

Great Tease! New follower here, hi!

Ooh, I love Sophie Kinsella, I have to go check it out.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a cool coincidence, I'm in Japan now!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
^_^
This is another author that I have never read. It sounds like the books are funny. I really should try one. Any suggestions for a beginner?
ReplyDeleteMy teasers this week are from Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton and Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. Happy reading!
BTW: I'm a new follower.
Sounds like fun...and I've heard rave reviews on her SHOPAHOLIC series too. Might just have to check it out. Thanks for the share! ^_^
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good! Gotta check it out!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Teaser Tuesday: Inspector Singh Investigates: A Curious Indian Cadaver post!
I enjoy Kinsella's novels - especially her non-shopaholic ones. :) Haven't heard of this one though - I'll need to check it out. :)
ReplyDelete@Kathy- This is actually a great book for a Kinsella newbie to start with. All her novels except the Shopaholic series are stand-alone. They're a little silly, but very funny. I hope you enjoy!
ReplyDelete@Mardel- I'm with you... like the stand alones much better than the Shopaholic series.
@GMR- You should try one of her books! I think you'd get a good laugh :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I love her books. Her books always make me laugh, grin, laugh.
ReplyDelete@Juju- yes, and this one gave me the warm fuzzies as well :) So sweet
ReplyDeleteI've always enjoyed Kinsella's novels, but I haven't read this one. Now it's on my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser this week is from The Lie.
Why is she or he picking on Mr. Yamasaki? Intriguing teaser.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower, my friend GMR recommended your blog!
ReplyDeleteI loved Sophie's book, Twenties Girl, but sadly, it's the only one I have read.
Haha! Love your teaser. Very funny! Thanks for stopping by my teaser.
ReplyDeleteThis book is new for me, I will check it out. Sounds fun!

I think of Kinsella as a romantic comedy writer. Sounds like she's written more fun reading in this book. Enjoy!
ReplyDelete:)
I like Sophie Kinsella's writing! Really liked her Twenties Girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TT!
